Delete Your Sweetest Account

Sweetest lets you delete your account directly in the Sweetest mobile app. You can also contact us if you need help with account deletion.

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open the Sweetest app and sign in.
2. Go to your Profile.
3. Open Settings.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email sweetestbitesapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Sweetest account and ask us to delete your Sweetest account.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or de-identify account data associated with your Sweetest account, including:

• Account profile information, such as username, display name, bio, home city, profile photo, and privacy setting.
• Your rankings, notes, photos, custom categories, comments, likes, follows, follow requests, blocks, reports, notification tokens, and referral data.
• Your Firebase Authentication account for Sweetest.

What may be kept

We may retain records if required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. We may also retain aggregate city, region, or place statistics that do not identify you.

Retention period

In-app deletion starts immediately. Email deletion requests are reviewed after we verify the request, and are completed within a reasonable period. Backup copies may persist for a limited time before they are overwritten or deleted through normal backup rotation.
