What is Sweetest?

A new kind of app for people with opinions about dessert.

No stars. No five-paragraph reviews. Just your personal top-10 of the sweet things you’ve actually eaten: cookies, croissants, ice cream, boba. And a slowly-emerging consensus from everyone in your city.

What you’ll rank

Specific enough to actually matter.

A top-10 for “desserts” means nothing. A top-10 for chocolate chip cookies in your city is a fight worth having. Sweetest ships with the categories below, and you can add your own.

As our data grows, we’ll also surface curated lists that get even more specific: think “the best carrot cake in New York” or “top soft serve in Seattle.”

The pilot

Going deep in four cities first.

Your personal lists work anywhere. But the city leaderboards only feel alive once enough locals have ranked. If you eat sweets in any of these four, we’d especially love your help getting them going.

Outside these four? You can still join. Your personal lists work everywhere, but city leaderboards stay quiet until we expand.
